The Stable Genius

Seeming to conflate the Nov. 11, 1918 World War I armistice, the 1919-1920 Spanish Influence pandemic, and a quarter-century hence, the end of World War II, on Aug. 10, 2020 the “stable genius,” Donald J. Trump, said, “The closest thing is in 1917, they say, the great pandemic  .  .  .  probably ended the Second World War, all the soldiers were sick.”
